My 16 year old nephew, also known as my favorite lurker, recently complained that I hadn't written a post in a while. I decided to interview him and turn it into a post.
1. Have you started driving yet?
2. What's your favorite subject in school?
3. Who do you most admire?
No one in particular
4. If you could hang out with any one person, dead or alive, who would it be?
5. What's the best part about having me for an aunt?
6. What's your favorite sport to watch? To play?
A tie between hockey and baseball
7. What college/university are you hoping to attend?
8. What was the best day of your life?
When the Bruins won the Stanley Cup
9. What was the worst?
When I had to get glasses
10. Who do you like better, your brother or your sister?
Sister, by a sizable margin
Well, there you go. I'm not sure I like the answer to question number 5. I'll have to get to the bottom of that one.

My mother-in-law usually makes this for Thanksgiving. It's one of those special occasion soups. It's not very diet friendly, but it's so delicious.
Here's the recipe for Grammie's Broccoli Soup

Head of broccoli or frozen broccoli
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cups shredded American cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1tsp garlic powder
1cup light cream or more
3 cups half n half or more
1/4 cup to 1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup flour
Juice of one lemon
Place broccoli In a large bowl and cover with cold water. Add lemon juice and let stand one hour.
Drain and chop broccoli. In large saucepan bring water to a boil add broccoli and onions. Boil till tender. Drain.
Large saucepan medium heat add chicken broth, broc.,onions, salt, pepper, basil, garlic powder. Mix well.
Still on medium heat add creams, stir well, add flour. Mix well.
Add cheese. DO NOT LET SOUP BOIL. Add more cheese and cream as needed.
Add the Mozzarella Cheese
Time to add the Swiss Cheese
Oh my! Look at all that cheesy goodness.
My tester for the day couldn't wait to try it.
"Yum! This tastes just like Grammies." Yay! success.
