I Love The Gap, but...

Don't get me wrong, I love the Gap. I have bought quite a few cute things from there in the past. They also have some great sales. Lately though, I feel as though they're way off the mark.
I was strolling around Derby Street Shoppes today and a woman from the Gap was walking around handing out coupons for 30% off your purchase. I decided to go in and have a look around. Well, it wasn't pretty. One of the first things that I saw when I walked in the door were these pants:

Umm, skintight, pleather, side-zip pants?! Seriously? Oh and they're $79.99. Thanks, but no thanks.

Next, I stumbled upon these gems.
Bronze Keds. Okay. Is it 1989? No? I didn't think so. Believe it or not, they were on clearance.

Now, because I love you guys so much, I decided to model those fabulous pants that you see above.

Maybe they look good on...someone else.

  1. Those are total Sandy pants from the movie Grease - you know the part at the end. "You're the one that want....you are the one - oooh oooh ooooh honey"

  3. I just found your adorable blog bc you commented on mine! Love it. I love me a bargain and will definitely follow your blog. Love the Derby Shoppes too but I live in NH so it's a hike for me. My bf lives down the street though and I grew up in the area so it's a fun spot for a girl outing.

Lemme tell you what I think of the Gap, and Old Nave for that matter....(not that you asked?). I'm just not into them anymore. Did I leave them or did they leave me---I dunnot. But I"m over the whole scene! Is it bad that many of my clothes I buy in a red shopping cart with my Market Pantry tortilla chips and Windex? Maybe!

Those pants are hot---you should totally get them. J/K. I applaud you for a. being able to fit into them---they really don't look bad on you at all---it's just the pants are just a wrong, wrong, wrongity mess of wrongness!! and b. I'm not sure who could--or would--be able to pull those bad boy's off!

    RIP Gap!
